For those of us who love a bit of sunshine that hearkens back to a great era of British music, then Italian (and no less authentic) group Harringtones should be just the ticket. This Is the New Age floats along on classic jangly guitars, washed-out vocals and a hook and feel that will stick in mind long after the tracks have subsided. This Is The New Age is unashamedly blissful without losing it’s edge.
Harringtones EP This Is The New Age beautifully captures their emotive 60’s psychedelic come Brit Pop style. The songs were recorded in collaboration with the legendary British musician Steve Cradock (Ocean Colour Scene, The Specials). Cradock contributed guitars, piano and auto-harp to the tracks.
